CDG Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 - Landside transfer
If you want to travel from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1, the only option is to take the CDGVAL metro. You will find the metro station between Terminals 2D and 2F, near the Sheraton Hotel. If you are in any of the terminals 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E, and 2F, the metro station is within walking distance. You just need to follow the sign “CDGVAL” that’s it. Also, you can board the free bus shuttle N1 in front of your terminal and get down at the stop “CDG2”. It is recommended to follow the first option, as it is more convenient and less time-consuming. Refer to the map below for a better understanding.
Board the free CDGVAL metro from Terminal 2 and get down at the last stop, which is Terminal 1. The CDGVAL station in Terminal 1 is located just in front of the terminal and you can go directly to the terminal.
Average time for this transfer: 15- 20 minutes
CDG Terminal 2B to Terminal 1
If you are in terminal 2B, walk towards the CDGVAL station through terminal 2D. This takes 10-12 minutes to reach there. If you choose the shuttle N1, then go outside of the 2B-2D junction to board the bus and get down at “CDG2”. Then follow the signboards towards CDGVAL station.
Once you are at CDGVAL station board the metro and get down at the last stop terminal 1. Time between Terminal 2B to Terminal 1: 23-27 minutes, If you choose to walk free option then it will become 40-45 minutes
CDG Terminal 2D to Terminal 1
Terminal 2D is located near the CDGVAL station. If you choose to travel by bus, you need to invest more time and energy. The distance you travel to the bus station will be equal to the distance to the CDGVAL station. So, it is highly recommended to walk.
Once you are at CDGVAL station board the metro and get down at the last stop terminal 1. Time between Terminal 2D to Terminal 1: 17-20 minutes, If you choose to walk free option then it will become 40-45 minutes
CDG Terminal 2E to Terminal 1
Terminal 2E has three gates K, L and M. If you are in 2E Gate K, you can go directly to the CDGVAL station as indicated in the above map. If you are in 2E gate L, proceed towards Exit (for landside transfer only) and then you will reach terminal 2F. From there you can go directly to the CDGVAL station(refer map). Time between Terminal 2E to Terminal 1: 22-30 minutes
CDG Terminal 2F to Terminal 1
Time between Terminal 2F to Terminal 1: 17-20 minutes
CDG Terminal 2G to Terminal 1
Time between Terminal 2G to Terminal 1: 25-35 minutes
CDG Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 - Airside transfer
If your flight landed in 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E, 2F, or 2G and have a direct connection flight from Terminal 1, then follow this guide. The blue shuttle is the connection link between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 for Airside transfer. Upon landing at CDG, keep an eye out for the yellow signboards that point you in the direction of your connecting terminal. For real-time updates on your connection flight, simply glance at the information TV display. The Blue shuttle has stops near 2A-2C, 2B-2D, 2E, 2F and Terminal 1. For passengers from Terminal 2G, first take the orange shuttle from 2G to 2F. From 2F, after your passport control, you will get access to the blue shuttle. Check the map below for more information.
