CDG Terminal 2E
Terminal 2E is one of the main terminals in CDG, being the primary hub for Air France, a major airline operating there. Terminal 2E has three boarding gates in three separate buildings. Which makes it a bit confusing to transfer between terminals. Let’s look at it in detail
CDG Terminal 2E Map
Departure from Terminal 2E
If you’re departing from Terminal 2E, You should follow the following procedures. Head to the check-in counter to complete the check-in process. After checking in, proceed to border control. European passport holders have the option to use the convenient rapid automatic screening system called Parafe. Following passport control, review the latest information regarding your flight and boarding gate from the information display TV. If your departure is from gate K, you can continue in the same terminal after the passport control. If your flight is from boarding gates L or M, you should take the free metro shuttle CDGVAL-lisa to get to the boarding gates. The metro has stops near Terminals L and M. Get off at the designated stops for your desired boarding gates.

Transfers from Terminal 2E
Transfers Within Terminal 2E
The transfers within Terminal 2E are facilitated by the complimentary transit metro CDGVAL-lisa. If your flight has arrived at Terminal 2E and your next flight is also within Terminal 2E but from a different gate, you can easily navigate between various boarding gates using the convenient transit metro CDGVAL-lisa. Terminal 2E Gate K to L, M
If your flight lands at Gate K in Terminal 2E and you have a connecting flight from either Gate L or M, then this guide is for you. Upon reaching gate K, simply follow the yellow signboards guiding you to your connection flight’s boarding gate.
If your connecting flight is from Gate L or M, you should take the transit metro from K. For passengers going to Gate L, exit the metro at the first stop marked as “Gate L” and head towards your boarding gate, followed by a security check. For passengers going to gate M, hop off the metro at the last stop named “Gate M” and proceed towards your boarding gate, followed by a security check.

Terminal 2E Gate L to K, M
For passengers arriving at Gate L in Terminal 2E and you have a connecting flight from either Gate K or M, then this guide is for you. Once you arrive at gate K, simply follow the yellow signboards guiding you to your connection flight’s boarding gate.
To get to your boarding gates K and M, you should take the transit metro from Gate L. For passengers going to Gate K, board the transit metro towards the direction “Gate K”. Disembark the metro at the next stop marked as “Gate K” and head towards your boarding gate, followed by a security check. For passengers going to gate M, board the metro towards the direction “Gate M”. Hop off the metro at the next stop named “Gate M” and proceed towards your boarding gate, followed by a security check.

Terminal 2E Gate M to K, L
For passengers arriving at Gate M in Terminal 2E and you have a connecting flight from either Gate K or L, then this guide is for you. Once you arrive at gate M, simply follow the yellow signboards guiding you to your connection flight’s boarding gate.
If your connecting flight is from either Gate K or L, you should take the transit metro from M. For passengers going to Gate L, exit the metro at the first stop marked as “Gate L” and head towards your boarding gate, followed by a security check. For passengers going to gate K, hop off the metro at the last stop named “Gate K” and proceed towards your boarding gate, followed by a security check.

CDG Terminal 2E to T1, 2B, 2D
From Terminal 2E Gate K
The blue shuttle conveniently links Terminal 2E gate K to Terminal 1, 2B, and 2D. Once you arrive at the terminal, follow the transit sign boards that guide you towards your connecting flight’s Terminal. The CDG Airport uses yellow signboards to indicate the transfer. Follow the yellow signboard and you’ll spot the shuttle bus stop near the gate K building. Hop on the bus and enjoy the ride through CDG Airport.
To Terminal 1
Get off the blue shuttle when it reaches Terminal 1 and head towards the terminal. The journey typically lasts about 17-22 minutes. Terminal 1 serves both non-Schengen and Schengen flights. For passengers having non-Schengen connecting flights, you will have to pass through the security check at Terminal 1. For passengers having Schengen connecting flights, you will have to pass through the security check and passport control at Terminal 1. To Terminal 2B
Hop off the bus at stop 2B-2D and walk towards Terminal 2B. Upon entering Terminal 2B, you will have to pass through the security check before you go to the boarding gate. To Terminal 2D
Get off the bus when it reaches stop 2B-2D. The entry to Terminal 2D is through the Terminal 2B. You will find the signage towards 2D and keep walking towards the terminal. On your way, you will have to pass through the security check and border control before you go to the boarding gate. From Terminal 2E Gate L
To get from Terminal 2E gate L to Terminal 1, 2B, and 2D you can hop on the convenient Blue Line shuttle bus. Once you arrive at the terminal 2E, follow the transit sign boards that guide you towards your terminals. The CDG Airport uses yellow signboards to indicate the transfer. The bus stop is located near the Terminal 2F. So a 5-10 minute walk is necessary to reach the bus stop. You will find the way to the bus stop just before the entrance of 2F. Hop on the bus and it will take you in the direction of Terminals 1, 2B and 2D. After this point, you can follow the same procedures as mentioned above to reach Terminal 1, Terminal 2B, and Terminal 2D. Add a 10-minute journey extra when you travel from Gate L.
From Terminal 2E Gate M
Gate M is located in a separate building and you will have to take two shuttle buses to get from Terminal 2E gate M to Terminals 1, 2B and 2D. Once you arrive at CDG, follow the transit sign boards that guide you towards your transit terminal. The CDG Airport uses yellow signboards to indicate the transfer. The Orange shuttle links Gate M with 2E Gate L. The bus station is located outside the building and does not need to enter the terminal. From 2E gate L, you can hop on the convenient Blue shuttle bus. Hop on the bus and it will take you in the direction of Terminals 1, 2B and 2D. From this point onward, simply follow the same easy steps mentioned above to reach Terminal 1, Terminal 2B, and Terminal 2D. And remember to factor in an extra 20-minute journey when travelling from Gate M.
