CDG Terminal 1 to Terminal 2
The CDGVAL connects CDG Terminal 1 to Terminal 2. It’s a light metro shuttle designed to smoothly transport passengers between the different terminals of CDG Airport. The CDGVAL station in Terminal 1 is situated just outside the terminal building, but no worries—passengers have direct access from inside the terminal to the station. Follow the signboards indicating the way to the metro station. Just keep an eye out for the “CDGVAL airport shuttle” signs, and you’ll easily find your way to the station. If your flight landed at Terminal 1 and you have a connecting flight (direct connection) from a different terminal, then you have specific procedures to follow. All other passengers and visitors can use this CDGVAL metro service.
The station entrance can be found on Level -1 of Terminal 1. Feel free to head straight to the metro platform, as this service is complimentary for everyone.
Board the metro and enjoy a brief journey of 10 minutes. Hop off at the last station of the CDGVAL metro, which is “Terminal 2”. Your exit is on the upper floor, take the escalator or lift and step into Terminal 2.
Time between CDG terminal 1 to terminal 2: 10 minutes
Once you step into Terminal 2, you will find Terminals 2A, 2B, 2C, and Terminal 2D on your right side and Terminals 2E and 2F on your left side. The terminals are in the same building and you can reach there either by a short 5 – 15 min walk (depending on the terminal, Please refer to the map also) or you can take the shuttle bus N1. The bus station is located outside of the building. After arriving at CDGVAL station and entering terminal 2, simply turn right and take a short stroll. Soon, you’ll come across an escalator leading to the upper floor. This escalator conveniently transports you to the exterior of the terminal, where you’ll locate the bus station.

CDG Terminal 1 to Terminal 2G
Once you arrive in terminal 2, you can opt for a complete bus ride by shuttles N1 and N2 or a 7-minute walk to terminal 2F followed by a bus ride on N2. We are saying this because the first option takes at least 35 minutes to reach your destination terminal 2G. The shuttle N1 passes through each sub-terminal of terminal 2 and thus it takes time. With the second option mentioned, you can reach 2G within 15-17 minutes.

CDG Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 - Airside transfer
The blue shuttle connects Terminal 1 with other terminals within the airside. If your plane lands at Terminal 1 and you’re catching a connecting flight directly from CDG Airport, there’s no need to pick up your luggage. Just make your way directly to the boarding gate specified on your ticket. It is recommended to consult the updated information about your flight from the information TV display. If your connecting flight departs from Terminal 1, you should remain within Terminal 1 and follow the signboards to your boarding gate. If your connection flight is from another terminal, for example, 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E, 2F or 2G then you will have to take the bus shuttle Blue to your boarding terminal. Blue shuttle has stops near 2A-2C, 2B-2D, 2E and 2F. Passengers who have transit flights from 2G will have to go to Terminal 2F and from there you will get the Orange shuttle bus to Terminal 2G.

CDG Terminal 1 to Terminal 3
CDG Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 is a 10-15-minute journey by CDGVAL metro followed by a walk. The entrance of the metro station is located on level -1 of Terminal 1. Board the CDGVAL metro and get down at Roissy Pole. Take exit 2 of the Roissy pole station and follow the sign boards towards Terminal 3. No shuttles are available after this point and a 5 – 7 minute walk is enough to reach Terminal 3. Following the signboards you will find a tunnel on your way, that leads you directly to Terminal 3.
Terminal 1 to Paris
After completing the border police check and collecting your baggage, head towards the exit. Follow the signage guiding you to the CDGVAL metro station in Terminal 1. Hop on the free CDG metro shuttle, which will transport you to the RER(train to Paris) station at Roissy Pole. Get down at Roissy Pole and take the escalator or lift to go upper floor. If you already have tickets or a Navigo pass, you can go directly to the entry gate of the RER, which you will see just in front of you. If you don’t have tickets buy them from the RER information desk or automatic vending machine. The Navigo Discovery Pass is available in Roissy Pole station. The tickets are also available in the Île-de-France Mobilités application. So that you can use your mobile as a ticket. Take the RER in the direction of Paris.
